Touching electricity with wet hands is more than 10 times more dangerous than with dry hands.
Induced voltage and ghost voltage can also light up a test screwdriver; always verify with a multimeter.
If the live and neutral wires are reversed in a screw-type lamp holder, the metal shell will become live — extremely dangerous.
When disconnecting, cut off the live wire first; when wiring, connect the neutral first to avoid forming a circuit that could burn your hand.
Connecting aluminum wire directly to copper wire can easily produce sparks because the materials are different.
When measuring voltage with a multimeter, start from the highest range and then step down to avoid damaging the meter.
